Development Officer – Fundraising

The Development Officer will strengthen organizational sustainability and community impact by conducting comprehensive grant prospect research, preparing a multi cycle grants calendar, and drafting funding proposals for government, foundation, corporate, and community funding streams. The youth employee will gather impact data from CentreCanada’s program dashboards, assist with budget preparation, compile outcome narratives, and support timely and accurate reporting submissions to funders. They will contribute to donor stewardship by preparing updates, donor appreciation materials, and personalized thank-you packages.

The participant will help plan and execute fundraising events, canvassing campaigns, and community engagement initiatives connected to youth mental health, food security, newcomer services, and academic support programming.
