Groups and Events Director – One & Only Mandarina The Groups and Events Director is responsible for proactive and reactive sales efforts, responding to all inquiries within the set time frame with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving annual sales group goals.
The position supports the sales plan and strategy, client development, managing key relationships, identifying new target markets and sales products with the goal of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
Duties and Responsibilities Plan and attend and participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including but not exclusive to: Catering Sales Meeting, Revenue Meeting, Sales Meeting and Site Inspection and Site Planning Visits.
Ensure the proper use of function space to maximize revenue potential for resort.
Keep Director of Sales and Marketing promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate.
