Director of Development – Junior Achievement of Maine, based in downtown Portland, ME. We are growing and seeking a full-time, hands-on Director of Development to support our mission of inspiring and preparing young people for life and career success.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the President & CEO and VP & COO, lead our comprehensive fundraising plan and ensure all annual fundraising goals are met and/or exceeded.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new partners and funders each year using a collaborative approach.
• Supervise and mentor one direct report.
• Lead and implement plans that build and sustain gifts from corporations, foundations, and individuals in partnership with the President & CEO.
• Cultivate relationships with corporate, individual, foundation, and state government partners.
