Is this role right for you?

In this role you will:
  • Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of data engineering use cases and work closely with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Participate in Data Engineering, Data Architecture strategy, medallion data hub architecture, and roadmap definition and review process.

  • Demonstrate strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services and Databricks.

  • Provide thought leadership in selecting next-generation technologies and architecture components as per the latest trends and Scotiabank standards, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Promote a data-first mindset across the enterprise to enable Scotiabank to become a stronger data-driven organization.

  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate cross-project or cross-program dependencies while managing relationships, anticipating/mitigating risks, facilitating communications, and leading projects in an agile fashion.
