**Position Summary:**

The focus of this position is to clean and recondition Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Shipping and Receiving in addition to managing inventory of filters at Penske service locations. This position plays a critical role in examining the DPF and determining if it can be reconditioned as well as returning it to 80% or better of its original capacity.

**Pay rate: $25/hr**

**Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM**

**Major Responsibilities:**

+ Examine and test the component for restriction and cell integrity by using bore scope and trap tester machine. Determine if core is able to be cleaned and reused or should be disposed, as measured against the appropriate baseline for the filter type
+ Clean the core using the appropriate patterns and nozzles in the trap blaster cabinet
