Job Description
Bigstone Health Commission is hiring a Health Benefits Manager in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time role focuses on managing health program operations and team leadership for improved client services.
As an integral member of the Health Team, you will oversee daily benefits operations and mentor your team for optimal performance. Strong advocacy for Bigstone Cree Nation clients will be key as you navigate healthcare access, eligibility, and policies, ensuring successful delivery of services across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of health benefits program
• Support clients accessing healthcare services
• Mentor and guide the Health Benefits team
• Generate reports on program activities
• Foster strong relationships with service providers
Requirements:
• Certificate or degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of team management experience
• Understanding of NIHB program
