How You Will Contribute

You will be joining the Coherent Modem Transmission Electro-Optic R&D group, a team responsible for developing the electro-optic transmission system for Ciena’s coherent optical modems. As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to active research and development projects while gaining hands‑on experience in a professional lab environment.

You Will

• Perform hands‑on laboratory characterization and measurement of advanced optical devices.
• Develop Matlab scripts for test automation, simulation, and data analysis.
• Model and simulate electro‑optic components and subsystems to predict performance.
• Collaborate with firmware, PCB, and DSP design teams to support system integration.
