**Key responsibilities**:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Monitor and maintain control systems, automation, navigation and communication equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and electronic systems
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with class, flag and company standards
- Keep accurate records, reports and logs related to electrical equipment and maintenance
- Assist bridge and engine teams during operations, drills and emergencies
