Position Overview

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) role located at Slave Lake Hub, supporting service delivery across Slave Lake, High Prairie, Swan Hills, and Wabasca. Staff can choose shifts at any of these sites based on availability.

Responsibilities

As an EMR, you will assess emergency scenes and patients and may transport ill or injured patients from emergency scenes and between facilities. This includes operating ambulances or other modes of transportation, assessing emergency scenes and patients, providing simple treatments and completing required documentation including patient care reports. You will assist with ensuring that ambulances or other Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles, such as non-emergent transport (NET), are properly stocked and equipped.
