Responsibilities Include

• Advisement, coordination, and interaction with all departments to accomplish all objectives.
• Assuring provisions for the use of checklists, process sheets, travelers, and drawings.
• Assure that he/she is present when inspections are required.
• Be able to continuously travel between and work from different NOV and vendor facilities locations as necessary.
• Determination of necessary hold points for inspections and tests to be performed.
• The authority to accept, reject, and to place on hold any item or operation where conformance to drawing, specification, contract and/or purchase order is not being accomplished.
• Verification of operations set up and/or fit up.
• In-process inspection of all metal prep/saw, weld shop and machine shop operations.
• Visual and dimensional inspection of all weldments prior to blast, paint, heat treat, etc.
