Full-Time | Lethbridge, AB | New Independent Café Opening

We’re building a new café concept called Homebird Coffee focused on quality coffee, seasonal baking, and intentional design.

We’re looking for an Executive Baker to lead our bakery program from the ground up.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who cares deeply about craft, consistency, and creating a bakery menu that people genuinely look forward to every day.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily production of pastries, breads, and baked goods
• Develop seasonal pastry + bakery menus
• Manage dough production, fermentation, and bake schedules
• Oversee morning bake‑off and service readiness
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Handle ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Train and support junior kitchen staff (as team grows)
• Collaborate closely with ownership on product development
