Site Description

On-call stipend, Meal per Diem and Additional Hours.

Norway House Cree Nation: 812 kilometers north of Winnipeg.

Population: Over 8000.

Physicians deploy from Winnipeg to community sites through chartered aircrafts, Monday through Friday on rotational time frames.

Year round road access, approximately 9 hours’ drive each way. The Norway House Ferry is used to cross the Nelson Channel.

In-province travel and accommodations are covered by the organization.

Possibly to travel with your family with 8 weeks’ notice; family travel expenses is the responsibility of the contractor.

Out-of-province travel paid for physicians holding 0.25 FTE (5-7 days monthly) or higher.
