Description: Aston Carters largest retail client is looking to add an accountant to their team on a 4-6 month contract basis. Within established policies and procedures of the Financial Accountant role, ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of numerous high volume bank accounts, as well as support Retail and Corporate cash management activities.

Responsibilities •Reconcile several high-volume GL accounts (i.e.

bank accounts). •Determine, record, and journalize daily bank related entries.

•Cash management related to Store Banking (retail stores). •Assess and investigate all significant reconciling entries.

Allocate reconciling items to the appropriate General Ledger accounts. Within established procedures, follow up any concerns with appropriate course of action.

•Responsible to open and close stores in systems. •Handle Retrieval Requests, Chargebacks and Double Charges.
