Fixed Assets Accountant
We are looking for a Fixed Assets Accountant to join a dynamic, international environment focused on financial control, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full fixed assets lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, and control
Perform monthly close activities and reconciliations (GL vs subledger)
Monitor assets under construction (CIP/AUC) and ensure timely capitalization
Track asset disposals, transfers, and impairments
Ensure compliance with IFRS / US GAAP and Mexican tax regulations
Support internal, external, and statutory audits
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–6 years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting
Knowledge of Mexican tax depreciation (ISR)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
Advanced Excel skills
