SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a Fleet Mechanic for a local fleet in the transportation department of a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate has general knowledge of diesel engine operating principles and is mechanically inclined enough to help diagnose and repair tractors, trailers, and dollies. Familiarity with 12V electrical systems, PM services, and basic welding is needed, along with your own tools. This is a 3rd shift role offering flexible hours and great benefits.

• Performs PM services and inspects equipment to identify and address pending failures
