Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team at Erie Meats. The role involves putting away, loading, and unloading orders while safely operating a forklift.

About the Position

• Pick orders and build outgoing loads per company guidelines, trucking requirements, or specific customer requests.
• Ensure proper stock rotation using first-in, first-out practices.
• Complete outgoing transfer sheets and validate incoming tracking sheets.
• Perform regular routines with minimal supervision and advise Shipping Manager of any issues.
• Segregate products according to government, customer, and company guidelines.
• Assist during physical inventories.
• Safely operate and troubleshoot automatic pallet wrappers or manually wrap skids when appropriate.
• Utilize machinery to flip skids and remove airflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager.
