Job Overview

Central Okanagan Public Schools seeks dedicated French-Immersion teachers for full-time, part-time temporary contracts and Teacher-Teaching-on-Call positions across Elementary, Middle, and Secondary schools, commencing in the fall.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess instruction in French-Immersion across grade levels.
• Assume additional teaching responsibilities in core and/or elective subjects as appropriate.
• Collaborate within a team environment and support the implementation of the school-level Collaborative Model of Support and the district Strategic Plan.
• Use technology such as computers, Smartboards, e-mail, and MyEd BC for planning, attendance monitoring, communication, instruction, and reporting.

Requirements

• Training and/or experience as a French-Immersion teacher.
• Fluent bilingualism in French and English.
