The Opportunity

As Director, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, you will be accountable for executing the Food Safety, Quality, and Technical Services long‑term strategy within Maple Leaf Foods’ vision to Raise the Good in Food. You will ensure adherence to the FSQMS across multiple production facilities, drive continuous improvement, and build positive, collaborative relationships with internal functions, regulatory authorities, customers, and other external contacts.

Food Safety

• Lead, support, and communicate the FSQATS strategy and drive FSQ performance metrics targets.
• Guide teams to meet MLF standards within the FSQATS management system.
• Oversee HACCP compliance to meet FSEP and other regulatory requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA).
• Continuously improve FSQ programs to satisfy Internal Audit and BRC/SQF requirements.
