Job Description
Lead reactor component teams at a successful engineering firm in a hybrid culture. Oversee design, inspection, and lifecycle management within nuclear systems, ensuring quality and compliance.
Reporting to the Project Engineering Director, the Fuel Channel and Fuel Handling Engineering Manager spearheads a technical team dedicated to reactor systems. This leadership role emphasizes strategic project execution and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You'll engage directly with CANDU reactor operators, ensuring safety and performance standards are met rigorously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve technical documents and design changes
• Plan and execute engineering work aligning with nuclear standards
• Collaborate to resolve technical barriers impacting deliverables
• Interface with clients to deliver engineering products
• Manage configuration control of design documents
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
