Northland School Division is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Caretaker at J.F. Dion School. The kindergarten to grade 6 school is located in the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement, one of only eight legislated Métis land bases with Métis governments established in Northern Alberta, Canada, and protected by legislation. Major responsibilities include:

  • Working seven hours per day Monday to Friday. The position is paid monthly with a salary range of $37674.86 and $45082.38 per annum based on experience.

  • General cleaning and grounds maintenance duties at the school. This includes shoveling sidewalks and entrances. 

  • A strong work ethic, initiative, and teamwork skills are attributes that will contribute to success in this position.
