POSITION SUMMARY

The FX Artist will work in Houdini to create high quality sims per client brief and internal direction. They will use both technical and creative skillsets to develop and create FX such as fire, explosions, smoke, liquids, particles, cloth, hair, crowds, etc. The Business Unit is Curated, Position is FX Artist, Location Toronto, ON (Remote), Pay Range $45.00 - $80.00 CAD hourly.

MAIN DUTIES

The FX artist will set up & adjust realistic FX sims (fire, explosions, smoke, liquids, particles, cloth, hair, crowds, etc.), light, shade and provide slapcomps of FX work for both internal and client reviews.

They are also responsible for the following:

• Attend daily sessions with the project team and work proactively to contribute to creative problem solving.
• Apply creative and technical feedback as it is provided from the project leads.
• Communicate clearly and frequently with the project team.
