Job Description
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with accounting principles.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports for management.
- Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts (cash, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, etc.).
- Conduct variance analysis and identify unusual trends or differences.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data as needed.
