General Position Summary & Responsibilities

The Haul Truck Operator (Site/Yard) operates haul trucks, tractor‑trailer combinations, or other heavy vehicles to move scrap, materials, and equipment within Company facilities and other designated private property locations across Canada. This role is primarily intended for private‑site operation and may not involve regular driving on public roads unless otherwise specified by location.

This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the role by moving materials safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures and Company expectations. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively, and efficiently reduces incidents and errors and supports operational performance.
