In this position as a member of the nursing team you will demonstrate genuine interest and respect for 50 Continuing Care residents that focuses on the delivery of excellent patient and family centered care. As a Health Care Aide you are responsible for providing direct client care to the elderly population including those diagnosed with Alzheimer disease or other dementias, in a manner that demonstrates principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, individuality and independence. Drayton Valley is located in the Central Zone, just 133 km southwest of Edmonton and 172 km northwest of Red Deer. The town has a population of over 7,000.
