:As a – Heavy Duty Mechanic, BC Mining, you’ll troubleshoot and repair a variety of Caterpillar heavy equipment such as Rock Trucks, D9 and D10 dozers, 395 Excavators & Graders; leveraging your technical expertise to build trust, solve challenges, and keep our customers equipment moving.
Your work will include:
Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in an active mine environment
Interface with customers, products and sales support
Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
Component replacements
Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication
Specific Skills & Experience
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification
Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)
5+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience Recommended
