Job Summary

Assignment: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Location: District Transportation Department. Starting as soon as practicable, with the opening available effective July 20, 2026. Wage: $38.78 per/hr. with a competitive benefits and pension package, based on a 40-hour work week. Your Qualifications, Education and Experience include: High school graduation or the equivalent Successful completion of the B.C. Apprenticeship Program and a valid B.C. Trade Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Commercial Transport Mechanic Minimum of one-year related experience at the journeyman level Physical capability to perform the job duties Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Valid B.C.
