Job Description
Join the Indigenous Homelands Team at Ecotrust Canada this summer as a Housing Policy Analyst intern. Focus on community-driven housing solutions in British Columbia.
This temporary internship offers full-time work for 8 weeks as part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative. You'll engage directly with community needs and assist in key projects that drive local decision-making on housing. Ideal candidates should have an interest in Indigenous policies and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and develop user-friendly tools
• Support the Indigenous Housing Toolkit's creation
• Conduct assessments based on community needs
• Regularly communicate project insights with your supervisor
Requirements:
• Ages 15-30 at the internship start
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in Indigenous governance in BC
