Position Description

Applications are invited for HV Substation Designers. There are multiple positions available in both the Northern & Southern Regions covering the following discipline. 

The HV Stations Designer is responsible for providing safe HV Stations designs within their region. These designs will be packaged and used by ESB staff and/or contractors to carry out work safely and efficiently on the Electricity Network. The designs shall be carried out in line with relevant standards set down by ESB Network Assets and adhere to company standards. These designs may be for work related to internal, commercial, industrial or customer projects as well as ESB’s own work programmes, and will include all aspects of electrical and physical design for substation equipment up to 38kV.
