Job Description
Drive Indigenous Relations strategy and negotiations within BC Hydro. This full-time role is vital for fostering reconciliation and developing robust First Nation partnerships.
As the Senior Manager of Indigenous Relations, your responsibilities include enhancing consultation frameworks and managing regulatory compliance. You will lead strategy development and ensure alignment with operational plans and Indigenous objectives. Building strong networks with Provincial and National organizations is essential to advancing BC Hydro’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee development of Indigenous Relations business plans
• Manage consultations and community engagements
• Lead team to integrate UNDRIP into business plans
• Develop meeting reports for senior leadership
• Build relationships with government and First Nations
Requirements:
• Degree in political science, sociology, or related areas
• At least 10 years of experience in Indigenous relations
