Major Job Functions

  • Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switchgear.
  • Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power/control/monitoring wiring.
