Overview

Role and Facility Information for the Department of Medicine at Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) is recruiting one general internist skilled in the management of complex inpatients.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for complex inpatients.
• Teach learners and participate in quality improvement.
• Manage new consults and monitor in the High Acuity Unit/Monitored Care Unit (MCU).
• Cover critical care duties, telemetry patients, and general internal medicine within the MCU.
• Handle 3-5 new patients and 12-15 routine patients per day on call.
• Staff the IM Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) and manage all clinic overhead, including office space and MOA.

Qualifications

• Outstanding clinical, communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with critical care, cardiology telemetry, and general internal medicine.
