Position Summary

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is currently expanding its Internal Medicine (IM) team and enhancing services to better meet the needs of the community. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collegial and well-supported environment, alongside a dedicated surgical team, a busy emergency department with approximately 25,000 visits annually, and a strong network of full-service family physicians. We are seeking a General Internist who is eager to collaborate in shaping our evolving IM program in Williams Lake. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing inpatient care, providing consults in the emergency department, and overseeing our 4 bed High Acuity Unit (HAU). While we do not have an ICU, our HAU provides a high level of care and is a critical component of our hospital’s acute services.
