Audition Requirements

Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue in a classic 1940s style. Drama or comedy is good. Try to deliver it in a warm, welcoming tone.

If invited to callbacks, you will be asked to read/enact selected sides from the play alongside fellow auditionees.

SUMMARY

It’s a Wonderful Life follows George Bailey, an idealistic man who sacrifices his dreams of travel and building skyscrapers to run his family’s Building and Loan in Bedford Falls. Facing financial ruin on Christmas Eve, a guardian angel named Clarence shows him how desolate the world would be without him.
