Java Senior Developer

Location: Ontario

Compensation range: $78,000-$98,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active relationships with the Product Owner to understand business requirements, lead requirement‑gathering meetings, and review designs.
• Own backlog items and coordinate with team members to develop features planned for each sprint.
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot software in the user interface or service layers.
• Execute peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability, and best practices.
• Participate in collaborative technical discussions focused on user experience, design, architecture, and development.
• Demonstrate project features and sub‑features to client stakeholders, utilizing the latest front‑end and back‑end development technologies.
