Labrador Regional Office; candidate may be located at Corner Brook or Goose Bay Regional Office.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to schools and educators on all aspects of numeracy/mathematics pedagogy, programming, policy and curriculum implementation. Support learning communities and build capacity for excellence in numeracy/mathematics responsive teaching and learning practices. Work with Provincial Program Specialists, Directors of Schools, other Department of Education K‑12 divisions, educators and school administrators to enhance student engagement and learning in mathematics. Demonstrate commitment to professional learning and current research in numeracy/mathematics.
