Technicien de laboratoire 3

Position Overview

Position will be split between Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH Pre & Post) and Glengarry Memorial Hospital (HGMH Core Lab). Home site is Glengarry Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include collection, reception, accessioning, preparation of samples for diagnostic testing and reporting of clinical samples. The LT3 may need to identify and resolve unsuitable specimens and may assist with training new staff and rotate through specified job functions based on operational needs.

Shift Schedule

Days and evenings, including weekends, with 4‑hour, 6‑hour and 8‑hour shifts. Schedule may change at EORLA’s discretion.

Basic Requirements

• College diploma from a recognized program or successful completion of MLPAO or CSMLS exam in the appropriate field of practice.
• Minimum of six months to one year of experience unless clinical placement was conducted in one of EORLA's labs....
