Note: This is a 0.7 nights position, 7 on, 7 off rotation. Reporting to the Senior Technologist and under the director of the Supervisor or Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in Hematology. Performs, records and reports diagnostic procedures in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures to ensure a high quality, accurate and timely result. Identifies unusual or abnormal findings and alerts Senior Technologist/Hematopathologist. Performs and documents quality control and assurance programs. Operates, maintains, and performs troubleshooting on a variety of laboratory instruments to ensure optimal function. Assists with maintaining department supply inventory and re‑orders as required.
