Job description

Our client is a boutique Medical Malpractice Law firm practicing solely in the field of medical negligence. They are looking to hire a law clerk with at least two years' experience ideally from a litigation law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting summary charts of our clients' medical records, out-of-pocket expenses, and income and employment information
• Taking lay witness statements
• Communicating with clients, experts, court personnel, staff at other law firms
• Completing medical research on case specific medical issues
• Ordering medical articles and textbooks
• Scanning documents
• Attending court for filing documents
• Organizing witness schedules for trial
• Attending trial
• Brainstorming case issues with the office team
