We are looking for a skilled Lead Database Administrator to take charge of our on-premises infrastructure. In this position, you will be responsible for the management and security of mission-critical PostgreSQL and EnterpriseDB (EDB) Postgres Advanced Server systems. Your expertise will help ensure continuous uptime, robust data compliance, and smooth migrations in both physical and virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and upkeep of PostgreSQL and EDB Postgres Advanced Server (EPAS) clusters in an on-premises setting
• Enhance database efficiency by analyzing and tuning slow queries and modifying parameters with EDB Postgres Enterprise Manager (PEM)
• Maintain high availability by managing failover, replication, and disaster recovery processes using EDB tools
