First Baptist Church Olds is looking for a lead pastor who is called to preach the Word of God (2 Tim 4:1-2), meets the biblical qualifications of an elder (Titus 1, 1 Tim 3), and is equipped to lead well as he shepherds the people of God (1 Pet 5:1-3, Acts 20:28). Our mission at First Baptist Church is “to reproduce disciples of Jesus Christ in Olds and around the world who have a passion for God and a love for all people.” We are seeking the Lord for a lead pastor who will provide leadership and oversight to the ministry of First Baptist Church to accomplish the church’s mission, with a focus to equip the pastoral team, elders, and congregation to do the work of the ministry. We expect that our lead pastor will give himself primarily to the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word. We are very much looking for an expository teacher who will take us verse by verse through the Word of God.
