Learning Support Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Learning Support Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.

This is a full-time temporary contract position. Duties are to commence on August 26, 2026, and the contract will terminate on February 28, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports IPP and EAL creation and implementation
• Supervises all educational assistants
• Oversees inclusive programming resources and spaces
• Member of committee for hiring educational assistants
• Liaise with specialists such as SLP and OT
• Support teachers with universal, differentiated, and EAL strategies
• Attends divisional and provincial professional development training and administrative meetings as directed by the Inclusive Education Coordinator
