This position is for an enthusiastic Legal Counsel who will represent the organization in employment-related matters across both provinces. You will manage litigation files independently, draft various legal materials, and participate in alternate dispute resolution processes. Your proactive engagement will enhance our workplace culture by mitigating risks and implementing strong employment practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly manage employment litigation from start to finish
• Represent the organization in applicable court levels and tribunals
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, and settlement agreements
• Engage in alternative dispute resolution activities
• Contribute to policy development and risk management
