Reporting to the Renal Services Program Lead, Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the frame work of quality management and in accordance with the University Hospital of Northern BC mission statement. Dispenses and administers oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous medications in accordance with pharmacy and facility policies and procedures. The scope or extent of the skill that the LPN performs varies according to the predictability of the outcome for a given client population.
