Linux Patching Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Linux Patching Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience in managing, automating, and securing Linux patching processes across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in system administration, patch management, automation tools, and security compliance.
- Key Responsibilities
- Patch Management
- Plan, schedule, and apply patches across Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
- Ensure timely application of security patches and critical updates.
- Maintain rollback strategies and recovery plans.
2. Automation & Tools
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Implement patch compliance reporting using Red Hat Satellite, WSUS integration, or custom dashboards.
