Reporting to the Transport Manager, the person holding the position collaborates with the various players in the supply chain to coordinate transport movements and ensure a high level of customer service.

THE ROLE

• Coordinate and offer shipments with road and intermodal carriers using the TMS in place;
• Track loads in transit to ensure on-time deliveries;
• Optimize route planning to maximize efficiency (weight and/or cube per trailer);
• Suggest ways to optimize operations to support performance;
• Inform customer service, the supply chain and/or the various factories/warehouses/suppliers of any anomalies or delays;
• Support carriers with daily operations (deliveries to customers, etc...);
• Approval and processing of certain freight invoices via TMS.
