Job Overview
The Area Population and Public Health Manager is a key leadership role in the delivery of Public Health Services and Programs across the healthcare continuum and reports directly to the Director, Public Health, North. The position is responsible and accountable for providing direction and leadership over the public health programs and staff at the site in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Primary Care Alberta. Responsible and accountable for contributing to the achievement of the goals of Public Health. The manager works within an area Leadership team and collaborates with Senior Management to assess, coordinate, implement and evaluate primary health services at the site level. The manager is accountable for dayβtoβday operations at all sites within the Area including Peace River, McLennan, High Prairie, Slave Lake and Wabasca.
