Overview

Job Description Reporting to the Vice President, Taxation, this newly created position will be part of Brookfield Asset Managements Corporate tax group. This role will primarily involve operational tax matters in Brookfield Asset Management and will work closely with other members of the Tax teams in Brookfields business groups globally including infrastructure, renewable power, real estate, private equity and insurance. This role offers an excellent prospect for career development and growth as a Tax professional in a highly dynamic and challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of consolidated quarterly tax provision in accordance with US GAAP and coordinate with external financial statement auditors.
• Canadian tax compliance (corporate, partnership, and other filings/elections) with assistance of external service providers.
• Responding to Canada Revenue Agencys audit queries and information requests.
