About Us
Har El, the North Shore Centre for Jewish Life, is dedicated to fostering a progressive Jewish spiritual and cultural identity by creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for all. As an egalitarian synagogue that is a part of the Conservative movement, we emphasize the equal participation of all members, regardless of gender, and are committed to promoting acceptance, open-mindedness, and inclusion.

Serving the Jewish community of West and North Vancouver, as well as the wider Jewish population of the Lower Mainland, Har El is a growing and vibrant community where individuals can connect in meaningful ways. Beyond religious services, we offer a range of cultural, social, and educational programs that bring people together.
