Materials Analyst – Automotive

Our client is looking to hire for a Materials Analyst with understanding of complex supply chains and inventory control systems.

Responsible for supporting production scheduling – press shop and assembly – optimizing supply chains, managing inventories; identifying ways to reduce costs while providing support to ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery requirements that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules on time production following established procedures.
• Analyze and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and business needs.
• Min/max inventory level review and provide suggestions for adjustment to align inventory level goals.
• Excess and obsolete inventory analysis and suggested inventory usage strategy to minimize scrap inventory.
