Job Description

The Regina Area is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist to immediately fill a 0.9 FTE contracted position. We encourage applicants to apply for a locum position of a minimum of one week if interested in a shorter locum opportunity.


The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies with maternal and/or fetal diseases. This physician will conduct consultations, diagnostic procedures, and sonography reports at the Fetal Assessment Unit at the Regina General Hospital. Consultations will include, care plans for complex high-risk pregnancies, diagnosis and management of fetal anomalies and abnormal prenatal aneuploidy screening, care of women with substance use problems, evaluation of teratogen exposures and genetic risks, and diabetes in pregnancy clinics.
